Life I have been on quite a journey since high school. I started off at Morehouse, stumbled into seminary at Luther Rice, joined the military, served on a Trident II nuclear submarine (USS West Virginia)(SSBN 736)(B) for 4 years, occupied a shore duty billet as an instructor for Strategic Weapons System Team Trainer for 3 years, served as the Strategic Missile and Strategic Fire Control Leading Petty Officer onboard the USS Tennessee (SSBN 734)(B), and served as the Strategic Weapons System Department Leading Petty Officer on the same boat. I was also the command's Educational Services Officer (ESO) Assistant and Assistant Ship's Diving Officer. My primary watchstanding duties were as Diving Officer of the Watch (DOOW) and Chief of the Watch (COW). I served on shore duty at the Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) in Kings Bay, GA. I graduated with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Philosophy from the University of North Florida (UNF) in Jacksonville, FL (cum laude).
